ORIGIN
RUAH is a combination of African (ancient Egyptian) exercises, combat arts, dance and meditation. It is an ancient system of health and life sciences dating back 8000 years ago, to ancient Nubia (Egypt). With the discovery of the Siali Seal we have uncovered an ancient way of developing a healthy mind, body and emotional state of peace and balance. To the ancients the mind, body, spirit and emotions have always been integrated as one whole. Therefore, a system had to be developed in which all aspects of ourselves could be expressed and trained as one. RUAH is a very difficult art to explain in words for there is nothing like it on the earth now, and furthermore it is an experimental art which words cannot describe. One of the amazing aspects about RUAH is that it is based on universal harmony which is the laws of nature. This makes RUAH so easy, anybody can do it; all the movements are natural and as easy as walking, sitting, reaching and smiling. RUAH principles are based on the four pillars of heaven which are the building blocks of all life: earth, air, water, and fire. Even the science of today has declared the four elements of Carbon (earth), Oxygen (air), Hydrogen (water) and Nitrogen (fire) as the basic building blocks of both our bodies and the entire universe. |

MUSIC AND RHYTHM |
| Music is another key element in RUAH in which harmony is both expressed and maintained through rhythm and movement. RUAH is not a left brain system where mechanical concepts and movements are processed and repeated, nor is it a right brain system in which you flow as you desire. “IT IS BOTH”. RUAH is a science in which chaos and order exist simultaneously, you are free to do as you are taught and free to express it as you are. |

HARMONY THROUGH INDIVIDUALITY
|
Harmony of the ancients. If you would be able to travel to ancient Africa, you would be able to experience what I am saying as a way of life. For each village was totally different from the next, but there was no rivalry, no threat. Within all the diversity, there was the unity of universal law, expressed through their experiences of life.

THE HARMONY OF ALL |
| Once you have experienced the elemental aspects within yourself, the next step is to learn harmony with a partner. Then in the final step, the search for harmony is found within an entire group. To the ancient Egyptians these three steps represent the formation of unity among ourselves, our neighbors, and most of all our community. |
