This area was based on a way of training; utilizing particular attributes from numerous martial arts of different cultures that Bruce Lee felt would enhance an individual’s ability to be functional in all ranges of combat.
The Third area covered is how JKD has evolved (since Bruce Lee’s Death through only a few of his closest students). Due to the research in various fighting arts which has been done by these loyal students, JKD has continued to evolve with a format consisting of intercepting your opponents attack, to the hand trapping seen in Wing Chung, while utilizing the mechanics of Boxing.
